Kuoni expands Indian Ocean collection
Kuoni has expanded its Indian Ocean range with additional hotels in Sri Lanka, Mauritius and the Seychelles.
The operator has added 11 properties in Sri Lanka including the Hide Ella Hotel & Resort, Haritha Villas & Spa and Jetwing Safari Camp.Kuoni said it wants to “put the spotlight” on the country and is launching new marketing activity in a bid to grow sales through the trade.
In Mauritius, the operator said it has seen a rise in customers choosing to stay in more than one hotel as travellers “look for more than just the fly-and-flop experience”.
It has added the Veranda Grand Baie Boutique Hotel to its Mauritius portfolio, as well as the Le Jadis Beach & Wellness Resort.
Additionally, Kuoni has introduced a new boutique, beachfront hotel on La Digue, which it said will make island hopping easier in the Seychelles.
Monique Williams, programme manager for long-haul, said: “We have such exciting additions to our Indian Ocean programme in Sri Lanka, Mauritius and Seychelles all handpicked to help create incredible itineraries.
“We have added range to our programme offering popular trending requests such as hotels that offer flexible dining options, wellness focuses, seclusion with private pool villas and a wider choice of options for families.”
