Tourist arrivals crosses 700,000 mark
The Sri Lanka Tourism Development Authority stated that the total number of foreign tourists who have visited Sri Lanka in the period up to December 26, 2022, is 701,331.
The month of December records a total of 73,314 tourist arrivals. Russia emerged as the top source market, reflecting 15,681 of total arrivals during the first 26 days followed by India with 13,892, the United Kingdom with 6,510, Australia with 4,254, and Germany with 3,797.
