Tourists at Sri Pada
Many of the 50,000 tourists who visited Sri Lanka during the first two weeks of February reserved a day from their itinerary to climb Sri Pada (Adam’s Peak), the Holy Mountain believed to house the footprint of the Buddha. The Sri Pada season is now in full swing and will end on Vesak Poya Day. Here a group of tourists descend the steps after venerating the Sri Pada.
