Upon a warm welcome at the Bandaranaike International Airport by our airport representative, you will be driven to Galle for the night, a 2-hour and 11-minute drive covering 152 kilometers.

This area is rich in history, personal stories, and family heritage. Great food options abound - and so does peace and quiet - making it the perfect place to spend a leisurely afternoon recovering from your flight.

Overnight stay at Galle

Today you'll move onward to Yala National Park Covering 181 kilometers in 3-hour and 21-minutes. Located in the country's southeast region, it's the second-largest national park in Sri Lanka. It was designated as a wildlife sanctuary in 1900, and its home to a wide variety of wildlife that you'll have the chance to see today on a Jeep safari. Leopards are the stars here, but the park is also home to the large herds of elephants, spotted deer, sambar, wild boar, wild buffaloes, sloth bear, jackal, and mongoose.

The birds are also fantastic, and numerous species such as Rosy Starlings, Paradise Flycatchers, Crested Hawk Eagles, Blue-tailed Bee-Eaters, and Common Loras inhabit the area. Spend the night at a tented safari campsite before the trip continues.

Start your morning with a hearty breakfast before embarking on an exciting adventure. Your journey takes you to Ella, travel time 3-hour and 11-minutes covering 126 kilometers. Catch a train journey to Haputale, where you'll be treated to stunning scenic views along the way.

The town of Ella, located in the central highlands, is a beautiful sleepy mountain village with an ideal cool climate. On a clear day, the view from Ella extends to the south coast of Sri Lanka. In Ella, get your adrenaline pumping with a thrilling experience at the Flying Ravana Mega Zipline, offering breathtaking panoramic views of the surrounding landscapes. Afterward, visit the enchanting Ravana Waterfalls, a true natural wonder.Pleasant walks through tea plantations and to waterfalls are possible. Mildly strenuous hiking trails lead to the top of nearby mountains.

After a delicious breakfast, head to Lipton's Seat, an iconic viewpoint with a rich history, where you can witness the breathtaking beauty of the tea plantations below. Continue your exploration with a visit to the famous Nine Arches Bridge, an architectural marvel amidst lush greenery. The evening is left for your leisure, giving you the freedom to unwind and soak in the serene atmosphere.

Day begins with a nutritious breakfast before you proceed to Gal Oya. Your travel time is 3-hour and 20-minutes covering 152 kilometers. Here, you'll have the unique opportunity to explore the Gal Oya National Park with an overnight tour. Immerse yourself in the wildlife and natural beauty of this pristine area, which promises a memorable experience.

Overnight stay - Gal Oya

This marks your sixth day of adventure. Start the day with a hearty breakfast and gear up for a trek to Monkey Mountain. Trek to the top of Monkey Mountain. Start in the morning from Wild Glamping Gal Oya and trek to the summit for stunning 180-degree views of the surrounding landscapes around the Gal Oya Valley. During your trek up, you will walk through the villages until you come to the forest, where a steep 4 km trek across the stunning dry zone forest home to many birds, lizards, and medicinal plants – used by the indigenous community of Rathugala' write small summary. This challenging yet rewarding trek will take you through lush forests and offer stunning panoramic views as a fitting conclusion to your remarkable journey.

Kick start your morning with a delightful breakfast before embarking on a farm tour in Gal Oya, where you'll get a hands-on experience with local agriculture. After the farm tour, take a leisurely walk to the tranquil Kiri Oruwa Lake. In the afternoon, enjoy a Gal Oya boat safari, a fantastic opportunity to spot wildlife and immerse yourself in the natural beauty of the region. Your evening will be free for relaxation and reflection on your day's adventures.

Day begins with breakfast, followed by a journey to Dambulla, a scenic 4-hour and 27-minute drive covering 204 kilometers. In the evening, you'll go on an exciting safari in Minneriya National Park, renowned for its elephant gatherings. Additionally, explore the historical sites of Aligala and Pahangala, located close to the iconic Sigiriya Rock.

Overnight stay - Dambulla

On Day 9, start your morning with a hearty breakfast before embarking on the Hiriwadunna village tour, a cultural experience that allows you to delve into the local way of life. Next visiting the mesmerizing Dambulla Cave Temple, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, which is a prominent cultural and religious landmark in Sri Lanka. Take your adventure to new heights with a hot air ballooning experience, offering breathtaking views of the landscape. Later in the day, climb Sigiriya Rock, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, and explore its fascinating history and stunning vistas. The evening is free for you to unwind.

Day 10 begins with breakfast before you proceed to Negombo, a 2-hour and 41-minute drive covering 128 kilometers. Here, you can relax and rejuvenate on the beautiful Negombo beach, enjoying the sun, sea, and sand.
