Activities range from Whale/Dolphin watching to ride on a motor bike to nearby cities .World famous blue whale can be seen in the seas near Mirissa. Visit to Matara fort or Galle Fort, relaxing at Weligma or Unwatuna beach for a difference are possible. Different types of sea food restaurants and beach night life will surely add value to your bundle of experiences.

An adventurous type may dare to experience diving in the nearby sea and marvel at the marine life. Unawatuna is famous for snorkeling and scuba diving.
